Dogs we have homed
Lucky Mia has gone to her wonderful new home to live with her new mum and Ollie, her new whippet brother. It was love at first sight for them all, Ollie said hello to all the dogs in the house, but after that he only had eyes for Mia!! She will have lovely walks in the large forest near her new home - she has landed in doggy heaven after the terrible 12 months of starvation she suffered. Mia, one of the 7 severely starved lurchers is back with us for re-homing, she had been re-homed by the kennels where she had been taken, but her new owner could not cope with her thieving!! Mia is a blue, smooth coated whippet X, about 22 inches to the shoulder She is about 5 years old. She is a wonderful dog, clean in the house, very good both off and on lead, good with people and other dogs. BUT she is and always will be a thief!! If you are not prepared to hide everything away then she is not the dog for you I left the bin in her reach the other day and came in to find it ripped up all over the floor - it was my fault, I left it in her reach. If you think the same as I do, and want a lovely, loyal, well behaved dog, then Mia may be for you. She has started her vacs and is booked in for neutering. She is wormed, frontlined and will be microchipped before going to her new home.
Chrissie has gone to her new home to join her new friend, an 8 month old Jack Russell, and his family. She is settling in well, and they are as delighted with her as she is with them.
Chrissie is a German Shepherd bitch. She was dragged out of the canal by a caring Police Officer just before Christmas. She is black and tan and approximately 18 months old. Chrissie is a typical GSD, very lively and would be best suited going to an experienced home who can give her the time and training that she needs. She has an absolutely wonderful nature.
She is wormed and flea treated and is due to start her vaccinations and be neutered.
Jack  Lucky Jack has found a new home after less than 24 hours!!!!
His new owner was heartbroken when he lost his old Jack Russell at 17 years of age, he had Cushings Disease. He new he needed a new friend and hit it off with Jack straight away. Jack is being neutered first, so will be going to his new home on Wednesday. Now that's what I call lucky for Jack!!
JESS is a broken coated lurcher, around 9 years of age and has a lovely gentle nature.
NICK – approximately 5 years of age. He is a neutered German Shepherd cross that stands about collie size. He is not house trained, and was abandoned by his owner, but still loves humans!
CHLOE is a white broken coated bitch. She is about 6 years of age and has a wonderful nature.
TAFFY is a 2 year old, fawn, broken coated bitch. Although loving, she appears possessive over food and would be better homed as an only dog.

DIDDLES – What can I say – he is no oil painting with his very unusual nose and piercing eyes!

Not housetrained and extremely energetic, but loving. He need a lot of training, but will give a great deal back to the right owners.

Sacha is a 6 year old German Shepherd who is in desperate need of re-homing due to her owner having had to move into sheltered accommodation.
She has been a much loved pet who has a beautiful and gentle nature and is good with children.
She is fully vaccinated and is in the process of being spayed and micro chipped. Sacha is a healthy dog, although she does require a gluten-free diet and would preferably be homed with an experienced dog owner
Barney and Midge 2 Male neutered Jack Russell Terriers requiring a new home together. Barney is Tan and White with short hair, he’s 7 years old, he limps on his left rear leg due to a previous knee operation in 1999 – everything is now ok. Midge is Tri-coloured with short hair, he’s 6 years old, Midge had a heart operation in 1999 for a condition called PDA, he also limps on a rear leg due to a previous road traffic accident prior to us adopting him, neither condition affects Midge anymore. Barney and Midge are not housetrained as they are outdoor dogs from a farm, they both get on well with other dogs and children, not sure about cats. They are not vaccinated but both are Pettrac micro chipped. They are being re-homed as their previous owner suddenly died. We are more than wiling to contribute financially to the care of Barney and Midge in their new homes.
