Demi is now homed

Here's an oldie we have at the moment...Called DEMI she is a ten year-old cross breed who is fully house trained and spayed. She's a calm, quiet girl needing a quiet loving home. She is good with cats and dogs and has come to us in need of re-homing due to very sad circumstances.

Sky's family have now let us know that Sky has been happily re homed.

Sky is a private re-homing. Sky is looking for a new home due to her owner having been taken into care, the other members of family are unable to keep her as they work full time. As Sky has not been brought up around small children, her family would prefer her to go to a family with 10 year olds plus as they know she is used to them, she is very clean in the house and extremely obedient. Sky is not vaccinated or neutered, but Burnley Dog Rescue would supply a subsidized neutering voucher. I have met Sky and she really is a nice dog.

Sky has now been re-homed and is very happy with her new family

SKY is 7 years old and is a lovely natured dog who has lived with children and a cat. She travels well and is good both on and off lead. She is house trained, but is a little timid meeting other dogs for the first time. Sky is a rich mahoganay brindle with white trim, her picture does not do her justice. She is about 25 - 26" tall, but only takes up a very small corner of the sofa!!

Foxy is now living the life of luxury spoilt and adored by her new family - which includes 3 whippets!!

Foxy is a 12 months old white GSD. She is wormed, flea treated,vaccinated and micro chipped. Her owners sadly passed her to us as due to a change of circumstance, they could no longer keep her. She is a little strong on lead, but she travels well, is really obedient off lead and loves other dogs (she is currently living with dogs aged between 10 weeks and 13 years of age!!)and is good with children. She hasn't lived with cats.Foxy is clean in the house and is very eager to please. She has been a loved dog which shows in her manner. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Molly has found her new family, they are all going to dog training together and really enjoying it.

Molly is 3 - 4 years old and came to us when her owners couldn't cope with her and a new baby. Molly has been wormed and flea treated and will start her vacs ASAP. Molly is about the height of a small collie, she is black with white down her chest and has a short, very soft and shiny coat. She is house trained and is learning to walk nicely on the lead - Molly is very intelligent and learns quickly. She is very energetic and loves long walks.

Her photo doesn't do her any favours, she has a really pretty face with dark, gentle eyes. Molly can go to a home with children school aged and upwards and is fine with other dogs. Molly would love a home where she can be a special little dog - can you offer her that?

Jake has found his new home - one of his carers at the vets where he was cared for has fallen in love with him - it seems to be mutual!!

Sandy has found her new home where she is now setting a good example to young delinquent Border Terrier, Alfie. She is enjoying her walks and is converting fat to muscle and is looking trimmer already!!

Sandy is a 7 year old Lab X, although she is smaller in height than a Lab. She is neutered, wormed, micro chipped and flea treated and has started her vacs. Sandy has been a loved family dog, she is good with children and cats and would love to be back in a caring family environment. Sadly she has been allowed to pile on the pounds and is now grossly over weight - if Sandy is the dog for you, you will see her become younger and younger as she looses weight!! Misty's Dad says thanks very much for all the interest. Misty has gone to her lovely new home today.

Misty is being being re-homed on behalf of her owner who she is still living with. Misty is a 2 1/2 year old broken coated lurcher bitch, approx. 24" in height, she is vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, house trained, good with children, travels well and is good on a lead. Misty is sadly looking for a new home due to a change of circumstances. Misty just wants a home with a loving family who will appreciate what a loving dog she is.

We now have our export license for Cumbria!! Lucky Ella has gone to live "up North." She has gone to live with her new family of pointers!! We are delighted for her, a lovely little girl who deserved the best - and got it!

Ella is a 10 - 12 month old Border Collie bitch, she has a very kind nature, is clean and travels well. She came to us after doing her 7 days in stray kennels, she is in nice condition and will start her vaccinations in a few days. She has now been wormed, flea treated and micro chipped.and will be nuetered as soon as possible. Ella would love a nice home with a lot of exercise (Borders Collies need more than the average dog) and someone to do a little training with her, she is more than willing to learn, she jut needs some one to teach her. Fluke, now called "Alfie" has gone to his new home. Another "export" into Yorkshire

Fluke is a 5 1/2 month old male lurcher puppy. He has started his vaccinations and been wormed, he will be micro chipped and will be neutered when old enough. He is a very loving puppy, but obviously has not been well socialised, his picture was taken whilst at the vets and he was quite overcome with all the new sights and sounds, but on a one to one he is very friendly. Time will put his fears behind him! He needs a loving home to call his own - judging by the state he was in when we got him, he hasn't had much of anything.

Merlin has now gone to his new home

Merlin is a 12 week old male whippet . Vets references and home check will be carried out. Homes in Lancashire and Cheshire only will be considered.

Sky is now living happily in Yorkshire with her new family - that includes her new best friend Solo who was adopted from BDR five years ago - that's two happy and very lucky dogs!!

Sky is a 7 month old brindle Labrador X Lurcher. She will be Lab, sized when full grown. She is vaccinated and will be micro chipped and re-homed with a neutering voucher, Sky is just too much for her present owner - she had forgotten how much hard work puppies are!! Sky is boisterous, but has an extremely friendly and outgoing nature. She is good with children and other dogs, but is untried with cats. She is house trained, but does chew, Sky needs an energetic home, possibly with some nice young humans who like to play running round and football, where her lovely nature can be appreciated. A little training would do wonders for her, she is very eager to please.

Scarlet, now renamed "Kim" has emigrated over the border to Yorkshire and is happily settled in with her new family

Scarlet is 8 - 9 months old terrier type, she is a very out going little dog who came into us as a stray - probably thrown out to make way for a new Christmas toy. She will need further training, but is very bright. She mixes well with the other dogs

Tich has now been rehomed.

Titch is a very small rough coated Jack Russell with a tail. He came in as a stray. Contact us if you would like more details.

Fudge is now very happy in her new home with her new family.

Fudge is about 10 months old, again a stray. She hasn't received a lot of training, but as her picture shows she is very alert and eager to learn. She is fine with other dogs and children. Hugo is a 2 year old very small dog, He is very friendly and gets on well with other dogs - but is untried with cats. He is house trained, vaccinated and neutered. Susie has now found the right home and is happily settled in with her new family

Susie is a 5-year-old Labrador/Collie crossbreed. Other than pulling on the lead, she is a lovely dog who really can’t be faulted. She is clean and obedient, loving and loyal. Good with children and with other dogs. Susie is Vaccinated, Neutered and Microchipped, just waiting for the right home…

Holly is a small, fawn-sable 4-year-old crossbreed. She is house trained, very loving – and very lively! She would love a new home with older children, as she has never lived with young ones. She is vaccinated, neutered and flea treated.

Hannah is now happily living with her new family in York

Hannah is a medium sized lurcher approximately 3 years old. She is house trained and is a very loving dog. Hannah travels well and gets on very well with other dogs when she gets to know them. We know nothing about her early life as she was found in very poor condition dumped in a garden. In many ways she was very lucky as she is being cared for by the person who found her!! Sadly she can not stay there as she is not good with cats and other small creatures - and the garden was part of a smallholding!! Hannah is also very good with children. She has started her vaccinations and is wormed, micro chipped and flea treated. She can be neutered later in the year.

Kriss is now homed

Kriss is a lurcher, possibly Saluki X, approxiamately 15 months old. He isa big dog, around 32" to the shoulder. He is exceptionally clean in his kennel and is very people orientated. He is lovely with children. He is untried with cats - but I have my doubts!! We do not have any history with him ashe came in as a stray. His kind nature makes him a great favourite with everyonewho meets him.

Kia is now living happily with her new family, Anita. Phil. Celt and Tara - and the guinea pigs!!!

Kia is a 4 1/2 month old Collie X GSD, she is wormed, flea treated and has started her vaccinations. She is a black with a little white on her nose and chest. Her previous owners have obviously put no training in with her, but she is very willing and eager to learn. Kia is very affectionate and loves everybody and everything. Kia will be neutered as soon as she is old enough. Kia is now in a foster home and is proving to be a star pupil, she is very attentive and learns very quickly.  Please contact us if you are interested in further details.
